Vacuum commercial / skit parody
This was my audition piece for a parody/skit commercial for a vacuum cleaner manufacturer. I ended up booking the role and am waiting on the final footage, which will be distributed on the company's socials. The style is 80s/90s family sitcom.
Dialect Work - Billie Dawn, Born Yesterday
Born Yesterday follows Billie Dawn, a seemingly naïve showgirl. As Billie awakens to her own power, she transforms from ornamental girlfriend to the ethical center. In this scene, she realizes that she wants more for herself.
Billie speaks in a New York dialect--which I realized after I found the monologue and fell in love with it. So, I worked with a coach on pronunciation and will continue to refine it.
